The financing is typically paid directly to the university and can support tuition funding, which may be considered during visa assessment depending on the country and individual circumstances. Shuri Education will review your overall profile, including your study plan and supporting documents, to ensure that pursuing financing is appropriate before referring you to the provider. Please note that visa approval is always at the discretion of the immigration authorities, and obtaining financing does not guarantee a visa outcome.

This education loan support is primarily available to international students studying STEM and eligible postgraduate programmes at approved universities in Canada and the USA. Eligible course fields include: Accounting Economics Finance Science Engineering Business / Data Analytics Nursing Mathematics Computer Science (Software, AI, Cybersecurity, Data Science) STEM Master of Business Administration (MBA) Doctor of Medicine (MD) Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) The programme must lead to a recognised postgraduate or professional degree such as Master’s, MBA, PhD, JD, MD or DDS. Undergraduate programmes are generally not eligible. However, final year or advanced standing pathways may be assessed on a case by case basis. Shuri Education can assess your profile and, where appropriate, support you with identifying and applying to an eligible programme before progressing to financing.

This may include accommodation, meals, and other study related costs where approved. This pathway is not available to students from all countries due to visa considerations. We will assess your profile and confirm the most suitable study destination before progressing with financing.

For students studying in Canada, the financing typically covers tuition fees. For students studying in the USA, financing may cover tuition fees and, in some cases, additional expenses depending on the applicant profile. The amount available ranges from $2,001 to $100,000 USD. All applications are assessed individually, and the amount approved will depend on your academic profile, institution and programme.

To be considered, you must be accepted or planning to enrol at an eligible university, be within two years of completing your degree or starting a one or two-year programme, and be pursuing an eligible degree type such as Master's, MBA, PhD, JD, MD or DDS. You do not need to have secured admission yet. If you have not applied, Shuri Education can support you with identifying suitable programmes and submitting your application before moving forward with financing. The application is completed online once referred. The financing provider will carry out their own eligibility assessment. There is no co-signer required, no collateral required, no upfront fees and no hidden charges. Shuri Education does not make any decisions on the financing itself.
