According to local tenancy laws, tenants must notify the apartment management at least 28 days before the end of the lease (or within the notice period specified by the apartment rules or contract) of their intention to move out and the exact move-out date. Failure to provide timely notice as required will result in consequences that must be borne by the tenant personally.
